Also known has “Chuky”, Hirving Lozano is the new Mexican football prodigy, with only 20 years old he already is one of the main references of his team, Pachuca where he spent his youth days. In January 2014 he debuted on the main squad. His international career so far is also worth to mention, he already appeared in the Mexican U20 and U23 national team. In February 2016 he debuted in the Mexican National team where he already scored 1 goal in 7 presences.
He has a distinct way dribbling the ball, he adopts a short dribble, always with ball stuck on his feet combining that with his good game perception and passing ability. He is also fast, dangerous with his constant breakaways coming from either the flanks or from the middle of the field. He plays well with both feet, has a very curly shot and he even is a decent header. All the characteristics that makes this young Mexican a good finisher. On the other side, he still needs to develop his physical capacity, he still looks a bit too fragile and that makes it more difficult for him to adapt to the European football.
In the future, Lozano can be one of the main players of his generation if he continues to improve his game, but, for now, he really needs a move to Europe where he can be tested at the highest level. With that European stimulation he can reach his peak and get to the top in the world of football. Lozano has a lot of pretenders in the old continent, one club that has been highly linked to Lozano is none other than PSV Eindhoven, the current Dutch champion, a club that can provide Lozano with some Champions League action and really put his name on the biggest showcase of Europe.
