Understanding the movements in the goal

On 11th of January, Leeds United played against Derby County coached by the former Chelsea player Frank Lampard.

Before and after the game several news report that “El Loco” ordered that one his staff members to go watch Derby’s training. Result: he got caught…but Leeds won!

During this season Leeds have been playing attractive football:

Patience in the build up, always looking for spaces and the right moment to attack, triangles and more triangles, overload one area to rotate and explore the othe, width, postional interchanges.

Against Derby, Leeds movements are all well cordinated. One moves to attract and the other seeks the space left. Its so good to watch and learn from “El Loco”
