Dortmund looked to gain superiority in one of the sides and then rotate the play. Playing with the wingers wide open, to open up the OPP.

Due to the OPP block with very closed lines, the players on the wings started to make forward runs, taking advantage of the space behind the OPPs defense. So they attract, rotating the ball, to find the right moment to explore.

On the 2nd goal they attract the OPP so that they open up, take advantage of the superiority and space between lines – speed up the play – Goal
