A Roménia, Albânia e Suíça, juntam-se à França no primeiro grupo do Euro 2016. ‘Les Bleus’ não são só favoritos a passar à próxima fase, como também são uns dos principais candidatos à conquista do troféu.

Os Helvéticos pode acompanhar a França para os oitavos-de-final da competição mas as selecções dos Balcãs também espreitam um lugar na etapa a eliminar, com a Albânia a partir em clara desvantagem por se estrearem numa fase final de uma competição internacional.

França: Uma nova geração francesa ganha vida neste Euro. Dos anfitriões não se espera só que passem a fase de grupos mas que convençam os seus adeptos com um futebol de grande qualidade, aliado às individualidades que marcam este conjunto. Em casa ficam nomes como Benzema, Ben Arfa, Varane, Mathieu e Diarra. Os dois primeiros por opção de Didier Deschamps e os últimos por lesão.

A ausência do avançado do Real Madrid abre portas ao protagonismo de Pogba e Griezmann, dois jovens que são apontados como possíveis estrelas deste Euro. O médio da Juventus assume um papel fundamental na dinâmica e organização ofensiva da equipa, servindo o pequeno mas letal avançado do Atlético de Madrid que pode jogar no apoio a Giroud ou a partir de uma faixa, sendo que no corredor contrário pode surgir os irreverentes e imprevisíveis Payet ou Coman. Didier Deschamps e os cavaleiros franceses têm uma excelente oportunidade para repetir o feito caseiro do Euro 1984.

Albânia: As águias dos Balcãs fazem a sua estreia absoluta em fases finais de Europeus depois de terem terminado de forma surpreendente no 2º lugar do grupo de qualificação, à frente de Dinamarca e Sérvia.

Na fase anterior, a selecção orientada pelo italiano Gianni De Biasi apontou 7 golos e sofreu 5, realizando uma campanha inédita. Um feito que beneficiou da vitória por 3-0 à Sérvia, imposta pela UEFA. A Albânia chega a esta fase com um conjunto organizado e defensivamente sólido que tem em Elseid Hysaj, lateral direito do Napóles de 22 anos a sua grande referência numa selecção que se faz valer pelo colectivo.

Roménia: Os romenos chegam ao Euro 2016 depois de terem alcançado o segundo lugar do Grupo F com 20 pontos, 11 golos marcados, 2 sofridos e nenhuma derrota. A selecção orientada por Anghel Iordanescu é uma das quatro selecções que não conheceu o sabor da derrota nesta caminhada.

A melhor prestação dos ‘Tricolorii’ remonta ao Euro 2000 onde terminaram nos quartos-de-final. A Roménia chega a França com o estatuto de melhor defesa da fase de qualificação, tendo na sua organização defensiva a sua melhor arma com Vlad Chiriches a ser o esteio do sector mais recuado.

Suíça: Os helvéticos alcançaram a fase final do Euro depois de terem terminado em 2º lugar do Grupo E com 21 pontos, fruto de 7 vitórias e 3 derrotas.

Vladimir Petkovic assume as responsabilidades de apurar a Suíça pela primeira vez para a fase seguinte do Euro, depois de terem ficado pelos grupos em 2008 quando foram anfitriões e em 2012 não chegaram a garantir o apuramento. A propensão ofensiva dos laterais Ricardo Rodriguez e do capitão Lichtsteiner constitui uma das principais armas dos suíços mas não é a única. Granit Xhaka é o jogador que todos querem ver depois da confirmação da sua transferência para o Arsenal. O médio defensivo pode ser uma figuras desta competição e pode protagonizar o primeiro duelo de irmãos num Europeu quando defrontar a Albânia do seu irmão, Taulant Xhaka.

Granit Xhaka is the player that everyone wants to see after the confirmation of his move to Arsenal. The defensive midfielder can be a figure of this competition and may star in the first duel of brothers in Europe when they face Albania where his brother, Taulant Xhaka, plays.
